Awesome shot - love how you caught those. Finally getting a DSLR camera myself and fireworks is something I want to learn how to shoot. (Though have to wait till next year!)

First gotta learn how to correctly take pics of reflective gear ;)

haha relfective gear huh? high iso, no flash haha.

Congrats on the DSLR. Fireworks can be pretty easy sometimes, this one was a 30 second exposure at F/3.5 Just play around with the settings, it's fun to see what you come up with!

lol yep - bunker gear I haven't gotten down right yet, however been trying with a point-n-click. The D60 will allow me to experiment with exposure times and F settings, so should be a lot of fun :)

ya know whats so cool about this picture that i noticed that i never notice when the fireworks are actually going off? the cool effect the water does with the burst... it's all squiggly :D cool pic!
